S.A.P. Throws Academy was created to assist student-athletes with becoming more proficient in the shot put and discus. The goal of S.A.P. Throws Academy is to also promote the sport of track and field, specifically in the throws events. Whether you are a beginner, advanced, or elite thrower, let S.A.P. S.a.p. Throws Academy Track Club
S.a.p. throws academy track club is a club that assist student-athletes with earning college scholarships to help with their education. The club teaches each student-athlete proper technique of the shot put and discus (hammer and javelin to come soon) as well as assisting with college admissions process, allowing student-athletes to excel on and off the field. S.a.p. throws academy is a United States of America Track and Field (USATF) and a amateur athletic association (aau) club based in Grovetown, Georgia coached by Head Coach Joe staton.
at s.a.p. throws academy we try to Instill within each student-athlete that effort plus energy equals success! the effort and energy you put fort on the field and in classroom is a direct reflection of how successful you will be!
s.a.p. throws academy was started in 2016 by founder and current Head Coach joe staton in grovetown, Georgia. During the club's short tenure, we have produced one aau regional and national qualifier. our intent is generate millions of dollars in college scholarships for our athletes.
How much does Registration cost for s.a.p. throwers?
Summer season- $300
Full indoor/outdoor season-$400
Can I set-up a payment plan?
Yes, payment plans are available
What does my Registration Fee cover?
registration fees cover equipment, general liability insurance, in-season training, meet registration, uniforms, and facilities.
Do I get to keep my uniforms?
Yes. Your uniform will be new and will belong to you.
Are there any other fees?
Yes. Your athlete will need membership with the “American Athletic Union of the United States” (AAU) to be eligible to compete in AAU sanctioned track meets. AAU membership is $16 for one year. Your athlete will also need a membership with USA Track & Field (USATF) to be eligible to compete in USATF sanctioned events. USATF membership is $20 for one year. Our track club will keep you informed on when these fees are due. Other dues include travel, hotel, and food.
How long does the season last?
Generally, most teams begin training in January. Competitions usually begin around late March and continue through June. Athletes that qualify for the Junior Olympics continue through the end of July.
What is the Refund Policy?
there's a No Refund Policy just as most other Track & Field teams
What are the Age Groups
We train athletes between the ages of 11-18. (AAU Divisions) (USATF Divisions)
